Im currently in same position waiting for results of a ct scan i had 2 weeks ago still have 2 weeks till my appointment date for results. I was told that once its been done it is then reported on, then sent over to the consultant then it has to be viewed in a meeting of speaclists to ensure nothing is missed. And depending on the results they will make a plan then i will have an appointment for results, they said its normally 4 weeks. The wait is awful isn't it, hard to focus on anything i find when im managing to keep busy and forget for a minute one of my symptoms pops up and reminds me. Hope your ok xx 

hi i had a mri scan  on my brain 6 weeks ago and still no results so i am in the same boat

Thank you all for getting back to me. We still don't have results at the moment and with it being Easter weekend can't imagine we gonna get them anytime soon. Hubby going to call today but they will probs just tell him what they said last week wait for consultant to call you. You had to wait 6 weeks _suicidal and they wasn't good. That's terrible leaving you that long with nothing but thoughts going round your head. I understand they have to have meetings and things? The longer they take to come back the more worried I am at the minute. Let's hope for some good luck ay. Thank you again everyone. Xx

Hiya everyone, my husband recieved a letter this morning for an appointment on Friday morning but not for results for a biopsy instead. Could anyone tell me why they would send him for biopsy? Especially when they still haven't given us results for mri! Thank you in advance

Scarlett...My husband is waiting for his results (prostate cancer MRI)  to come back from the 18th January it's now 15th February been told today to wait for a appointment on the 1st march at another hospital out of our district. Why is it taking so long ...I've been passed from pillow to post with phone calls..
