Pelvic ultrasound

Just after advice really and reassurance. I suffer with heavy periods to the point that 1 to 2 days every cycle I can't leave the house.

Recently I've been spotting roughly 5 days after finishing my period. I spoke to a Dr who referred me for a pelvic ultrasound.

Yesterday the surgery phoned to book me a telephone consultation to discuss results. The receptionist said lets get you one soonish (cue slight panic) only to be told they had one for the 26th April. 

Because its not what I would consider soonish I'm assuming the results aren't anything worrying but just wondered if anyone had a similar experience?

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I can understand your concerns - it's good to hear that the receptionist was keen to get you booked in soon; I would try not to read anything into this too much. I know it's easier said than done, but try not to assume anything one way or the other with regards to the waiting time.

    I'm sure the waiting will be a little difficult, but I hope that the appointment comes around soon for you.

    Meanwhile if others here have a similar experience or thoughts to share then hopefully they'll be along soon.
