Worried about lumps in throat

Hello all,

I have recently discovered what I thought was that lump in your throat feeling was actually a lump protruding from behind the rear arch in my mouth! Not painful just uncomfortable. I've been absolutely exhausted rhe past few months too but have been putting off getting my bloods done as I've been so busy  Upon further investigation tonight I've noticed a collection of smaller lumps surrounding it too. This is all at one side behind the tonsil. I'm absolutely terrified.. I'm 29 with 3 kids aged 6  4 and 1. Just wondering if this is consistent with what anyone else has had? Of course seeking medical help as soon as possible!!

Thanks

  • Hey

    Hope your okay

I'm in a similar situation myself with a lesion on my oropharynx behind the uvula I have to open my mouth wide to see it along with an extra growth above the right tonsil and also inflamed with a few ulcers here and there on soft palate. I believe mine was caused by covid November 21, it created a lot of problems with my throat.

Anyway long story short I saw an emergency dentist he told me I needed to see head and neck Maxillofacial as I'd be a good case study  saw Maxfax had an oral xray she told me she's ruling out cancer this was over 4 weeks ago now  I have my neck mri this Thursday coming. I seem to be getting more lymph nodes in my neck on both sides now and right shoulder seems restricted and swollen at the top. But currently battling norovirus thanks to my boys  so could be that. I hope you go to the Dr and get someone to have a feel it always worth checking have you had your covid booster recently apparently that's quite common

    take care
