ovarian cyst blood tests

Hi, I had ultrascan for abdominal pain last week and they found 5x6cm cyst on one of my ovaries. I have since had bloods done at GP's - full blood count, gfr, urea & electrolytes, liver function, haemoglobin and ca125 which came back as raised. So have been referred to 2 week fast track to gynae service. The gynae service rang back today with a courtesy call saying next stage is more bloods before scan/ appt can be booked. Does anyone know what more tests they do - as according to Dr Google they've done all necessary already - or do they like to repeat before accepting referral. I'm just worried as time ticking by...

    I had a MRI and Transvaginal ultrasound after my first appointment with gynaecology oncology. My bloods were repeated as well. At the two weeks appointment they said that they were not operating on cysts just cancer due to Covid. 
    l had a phone appointment with the surgeon for  scan results, She said that she would remove cysts due to the size and that they were solid and booked me for excision of my cysts saying  it would  be in about 8; weeks.  I had my surgery in October it was quite difficult due to extensive adhesions and took 4 1/2 hours leaving a large scar, it was a bit of a shock as il was expecting  keyhole!  She did say pre op that it may be a bit stuck!  Due to previous surgery. 
    l would sack Dr Google they only give the worst outcome for everything, usually cancer when it can be things like cysts.

    Thanks Susie for your reply. Well I have had blood test form through the post now and it's repeat of CA 125 plus other cancer marker tests so I suppose that is sensible next step to hopefully rule things out/in.  I'm sorry to hear your surgery was a bit of a nightmare - sometimes you just hit unlucky. My husband had bowel/bladder surgery last year with temporary stoma. The first op was very straightforward and the supposedly simpler reversal op was way worse - in hospital much longer, wound wouldn't adhere -always worse I guess if it's somewhere you have had previous surgery. And you are right that googling stuff is not a great idea for peace of mind - I have calmed down now and will leave t'internet diagnoses alone!
