I had a lump in December which turned out to be a breast absess. I was given antibiotics and after a few days the absess came to the surface and I had an urgent appointment to have it drained in the breast clinic. I was breast feeding at the time but I know that this can occur with women even when not breast feeding. 

they will do an ultrasound in clinic and go from there. They could see clearly straight away mine was a 4 cm deep infection. As you have some pain sounds like this could be the cause too.

Hi everyone, me again, it's been 4 days since in came back from the doctors and received no letter, than all of a sudden the hospital have called asking me to go in tomorrow at 2. Should I be worried about this? I haven't had a letter, this all seems fairly quick, I'm panicking about what the doctor wrote in my referral and didn't say x
