I know it's only been a few days - I had a lump removed from my buttock on Friday, which has been sent to histology and cytology. Just wondering how long people are wating for results at the moment, just so I can get my head round it. Don't think whatever came out of me was what they were expecting at all. I worry as my first encounter with any hospital department was 7 months ago - and that was after at least 6 months on a waiting list to be seen! The good news is it's out and that's positive, but if it is something worrying has it been removed correctly? I hope so. I'm hoping it's not months again.
UPDATE: I was pro-active and called them today - 2-3 weeks minimum, so I will just fill my time with friends and coffees, cats and music! (I hate waiting - just like everyone else).
