Hard Lump on rib

Hi hope someone can help as I'm worried

found a lump on my rib 3 weeks ago

hard firm lump and has got bigger in the 3weeks

been to my gp who has referred me for X-ray and didn't seem

concerned but I'm worried , lump hurts at night but I think maybe because I'm lying on it

anyone give me advice

Welcome to Cancer Chat. Unfortunately it's difficult for anyone here to advise on what this could be. You've done the right thing by seeing your GP, and the referral will mean you should get some answers before too long.
It's good to hear that the doctor wasn't too concerned, although I know any uncertainty and waiting for information is difficult, so I hope you hear more soon.
