Hi All, 

I've never posted to a forum before and would really appreciate some advice. 
 

I'm 35 years old and breastfed my daughter for 11 months and stopped nearly 2 years ago. I had two early miscarriages last year, the last one in august. I lifted my arm last week and saw a noticeable indent at 7pm on the underside of my nipple. It's about the size of a 5 or 10p piece. 
 

I have some health anxiety and this really sent me spiralling. I could not function and doing online searches only made this 100 times worse as all searches lead to one diagnosis which is cancer unfortunately. 
 

i don't have the money but I paid to go to a private clinic and see a consultant. He did a thorough check and said that I have no palpable lump and he thinks it is loss of fiberous tissue In that area. He was really reassuring and offered me an ultrasound to be sure. The ultrasound was also normal and nothing was spotted. 
 

You would have though I'd feel reassured but all I'm doing is worrying that ultrasound doesn't spot everything and maybe there is still something there, possibly in early stages that can't be picked up yet. 
 

does anyone have any stories of breast dents being normal? 
or any reassurance that I should feel okay now and that ultrasounds are trustworthy. I really need some perspective because my health anxiety is stopping me from seeing this situation clearly.
