Suspicious mass on mammogram

I went doctors about a new breast lump, got a 2 week appointment,that lump was fatty tissues but they found something else so had a ultrasound and then a biopsy and they put in a clip ? Went back for results and they said the sample was scatty tissue? And the pathology want another test done ( biospy) but the doctor said it seems OK but we need to check, should I be worried

    Hi Lisab,

    It is always a worry when they want further tests, but it doesn't always turn out to be bad news. A biopsy tests the tissue for cancer. This is the only definite way to determine if there is anything untoward present. Here's hoping that your doctor is right, but you are just as well to check it out for your own peace of mind.
