Why would you have a Blood test after Hysteroscopy

Why would you have blood tests done after a hysteroscopy which they found 2 cysts plus others things and they sent away some biopsies . Mum had one done today and had to have bloods done after .plus the doctor wants her to have another ct scan done . I'm.starting to think it could be serious.

    I'm sorry to hear that your Mum is going through some investigations at the moment. It's natural to be worried about things. 

    There could be any number of reasons why the Dr requested that she have some blood tests after her hysteroscopy and we would only be guessing at why that may be.
