Mole excision

I'm having my mole taken off for testing on Tuesday, this is on the side of my head. The dermatologist didn't explain what will happen during the procedure so I'm guessing they will on Tuesday before it's done but I just wondered will they need to shave my hair around the mole area?

Has anyone gone through this and can give me and insight on what to expect please?

    I noticed you're having your mole removed today so I just wanted to wish you good luck and also share some information we have about removing a mole.
