Am I overthinking things?

Had a recent colonoscopy and had some polyps removed. One turned out to be cancerous and I had a CT scan a little under two weeks ago. Just received a letter from surgical department of local hospital asking me to go in for an outpatients appt next week. 

Really don't know what to read into any of this and as usual my brain is being my own worst enemy.

    I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had some health concerns which resulted in a cancerous poly being removed. It's perfectly understandable that you're feeling anxious ahead of your appointment next week. 

    I'm going to suggest that you give our team of nurses a call. I'm sure that they will be happy to try and offer some information and advice ahead of your appointment and help you think about questions that you may want to ask the consultant. If you'd like to chat with them they're available Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm on 0808 800 4040.
