Try not to worry too much - it can be a bit frightening to discover that you have abnormal cells but this is something that is easily treatable and for which many ladies on here have had successful treatment. You can find out more about cervical screening results on this page.

Do mention to them that you have had vaginal bleeding after intercourse before your smear test and that you were anxious about this.
