Hey! Not sure if anyone can help pop my mind at rest. I found out last Wednesday that I have a 15cm x 10cm "cyst type thing" (the actual words of the clinician) on my left ovary. We found this through a private fertility clinic as myself and my wife were looking to start our journey. So they printed the pictures and reports and took them to my GP. I'm worried about it as it's been giving me a lot of pain for months now and I got told by the GP that is was a UTI, IBS, even got told by one that was a joint issue!
The ultrasound shows a very irregular border with what they have said on the report is projections into the cavity.
So I have been googling all sorts which is probably not helping. It feels like I've already waited 12 months to get to this point and worried how much longer it will take to get sorted.
Has anyone else been in a similar position? I just want a professional to look at the scan and tell me "it's just a cyst" but my brains going crazy.
(Oh we have named it Percy Pest - hence the username haha)
