I have had intermittent pelvic pain for about two months and after a blood test which showed a heightened CA125 level I was referred for an ultra sound scan. I queried this with the GP because 8 years ago I had a complete hysterectomy and removal of my ovaries. Anyway, I went ahead with the scan which showed swelling where the ovaries had been. I am now awaiting a CAT scan. I would be interested to hear from anyone who has had a similar experience.
