I'm sorry to hear that you're waiting for biopsy results at the moment. We know that for many people this period of uncertainty waiting for tests, results, and appointments can be particularly difficult.
It really does vary how long it can take for results to be returned from the lab and then seen by the Consultant. Sometimes it can take longer if the results need to be discussed by an MDT before any firm information can be given to the patient. If you've not heard within a couple of weeks then do give the Consultant's secretary or hospital team a call to ask when you may hear some news.
