I had a full health check a few weeks ago & it came back with ca125 of 50. I've never heard of ca125 but red flag & told me to call GP who had requested an urgent ultrasound. I have made a private appointment tomorrow to see a gynea but I'm so worried because its come out of the blue & I have no symptoms of ovarian cancer or any other pelvic pain. I'm 41 with two daughters.

Is this a high reading & has anyone else had this? Thanks

    Hi - I've had my Ca 125 back and I know I have a cyst on my left ovary which is being removed on Thursday. My Ca 125 was 17 this time last year; 34 in September and now it's 58. I'm 42 with children and also very worried. My consultant said not to worry but it doesn't help!

    From what I've read there are so many things that could elevate it and your GP is doing the right thing chasing it xx

    Thanks for your message, I hope it goes well on Thursday. I had never heard of ca125 until 3 days ago so it's all a bit of a shock! Praying it's something different.
