We are worried about my wife, shes 52 years old and in last 6-9 months has lost 2 + 1/2 stone in weight, sex is painful (has been for a while) and sometime during sex we have to change position as hip is painful. Shes recently told me she has smearing and some bleeding, very very worried she has cervical cancer. 

Doctors have done blood tests for kidney.liver,thyroid,diabetes and all came back fine, she had to wait 3 weeks after tests to get a phonecall from doctors and back to get more tests, doctors took urine sample, and more blood for more advanced tests, and shes awaiting a x ray and scan.

Surely if nothing wrong   she shouldnt loose this much weight in such a short space of time? She still has a appetite isnt tired and has no other symptoms, can anyone help please as were so worried, we have a 25 yo son who stays at home and is 24hr care and relies on his mum 24/7
