I'm 35 with a 3 year old daughter and no history of BC in my family. I do have a diagnosed health anxiety which is worth noting for obivous reasons.
I have had breast pain for the past two months. It started with a burning, shooting pain and is now more aches. It can happen in various parts of my breast some times in my armpit. It waxes and wanes and can disappear when I'm fully absorbed. About two weeks in I couldn't cope with the anxiety and bypasssed my gp and saw a breast surgeon/consultant privately. I had seen this consultant previously a year ago about a dimple I had on the same breast and all was fine. He gave me a super thorough exam of both breasts and armpits and said they were 'perfect' and there are no issues. He didn't think an ultrasound was necessary as there were no abnormalities. I was in quite a bit of pain when he was examining me so he believes it is a muscular issue putting pressure on one of my nerves and recommended wearing a sports bra day and night. Which I was happy with at the time as I knew I had been wearing bras that just weren't supportive since my daughter was born and I have big breasts. My long term chiropractor also told me that my right armpit is not right and corroborated what the consultant found.
im just struggling as it's been two months and I've worn the bras and my breast still hurts and is sensitive. It's not got worse and I have not developed other symptoms but I wondered if anybody else had experienced something similar?
