I'm currently on the 2ww with a maxfax referral for a painless lump at the back of my throat. I didn't expect it as I went to the dentist last Monday with a swelling at the roof of my mouth which I now know is a lesion and mentioned the back lump to him after he told me "I'd be a good case study" due to developing the lump during covid last year.
The only sxs I have is
A lump that hasn't gone away
Swollen lymph nodes both sides of my neck and back of my neck. I also had the right side investigated under 2ww this time last year due to just feeling generally unwell constantly.
And since last week have found that my left tonsil is larger and has a lump above it thanks to looking at pictures I sent the GP when I had Covid.
What symptoms do you have? Have you been referred?
I feel like I am unable to swollow food but can swollow liquids, my tongue hurts and all of my mouth, my lips feel like they tingle now and again and I keep having gurgling noices in my throat, and my teeth hurt
My lips tingle but put that down to my recurring bells palsy, I also have a dry mouth keep smacking my tongue against the lesion. I haven't personally looked into symptoms of throat cancer so I'm a bit naive with the sxs. If you haven't all ready I'd recommend talking to a gp and seeing what they suggest
Do you have cancer? I'm just worried as I smoke, used to drink heavily and also have HPV on my smear, I'm calling my doctor first thing in the morning x
