    Hi Lady_penelope,

I am glad to hear that you had your appointment today and that you have had the necessary tests. Your consultant didn't give you any answers today because they will depend upon the results of your biopsy. This is the only way to be certain whether or not cancer is present. It is good to see that you don't have too long to wait, as this is always an anxious time.

I sincerely hope that it turns out to be good news. Please keep us posted.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx

  • thanks

the timimg anit the best . due to father in law passing and funeral on 24th march ,

very strict straight to the point .which is good in a consulatant having pyjama day , been told to rest today

im more scared coming off warfarin to have any surgery than being told it cold be .....

at least next appointment my hubby can come with me and its my local hospital

    HI Lady_penelope,

I so sorry to her about your Father-in-law and offer my sincere sympathy to you and your family.

I understand your worry about Warfarin. I have a similar problem, in that I have stopped breathing on the operating table before and now have to have fibre-optic intubation for any procedure. This always adds an additional challenge to any operation. Try not to worry - surgeons manage people coming off Warfarin all the time, so they know what they are doing.

Did they give you an appointment for your results? I hope that you don't have too long to wait for them. They usually allow partners to attend with you for results. It is always worth writing down any questions you have before you attend the consultation, as it is all too easy to forget something important in the heat of the moment. Get hubby involved too, as he may have different questions.

I hope that all goes well for you. Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
