Hi there
I'm 48 and have just discovered that it was advised by my sisters consultant that I should been having annual mammograms from 40. My last mammogram was 6 years ago. Long story short after having a routine mammogram I've been referred to the breast clinic. Mammogram was 3 weeks ago and I'm waiting for letter from breast clinic to make appointment. Family history not great, mum has 7 sisters, 4 of whom who have died from cancer. Both my dad's sisters have had cancer, with one sadly dying also.
I guess I'm just wondering what the odds are of having cancer with no symptoms? I know no-one can diagnose me on here I'm just worried and trying desperately not to !
