Any advice please

I have been so ill since June lost 3 stone it started with acid reflux pain in abdomen ive had lots of tests endoscopy no biopsy taken colonoscopy ct scan of abdomen and pelvis barum swallow no answers since then i cant eat feel sice food feels like it gets stuck in chest doctors referred back to gastro gp says cant do no more for me until gastro gets back waiting months for appointment in the meantime im losing more weight cant eat pain in chest, abdomen, and middle back i went to A&e they say because it an on going problem go back to gp it not for a&e to treat i dont know where to go next any advice i would be so grateful thank you

    I'm sorry to hear that it's taking some time to get answers and that you've been feeling unwell.

    The main thing is that you are in the system of getting some answers - you mention you are waiting to hear back from gastro. I'm not sure if you were given a timescale within which you should expect to hear back, but hopefully you will hear back soon. You can always call the hospital department to check.

    It's hard to advise further as really it's a case of waiting to get the answers you need from the medical team. If things get any worse in terms of your symptoms in the meantime give your doctor a call.
