Any advice would help

Hi

ive been having blood after opening my bowels and I've noticed a small lump, but the most worrying thing is itchiness, I actually feel embarrassed to say it. At times the itchiness calms down but mostly in the evening it starts and it's really bad. I feel embarrassed to go to my doctor I just wondered if anyone had experienced anything like this and what are your thoughts. I think it maybe something else.

    I'd definitely get that checked out by your doctor, but I'm almost 100% certain what you described is an external haemorrhoid! The itchiness, bleeding and small lump. I had internal ones a while back, and my friend, who is the same age as me (21) had an external one, so they're incredibly common, regardless of age! Still, if it worries you, please don't be afraid to get checked, every doctor sees hundreds, if not thousands of cases of haemorrhoids each year!
