Advice - worried my symptoms are sign of something sinister

Hello

I really hope no body minds me asking advice on here.

im 30 years old and I've had bloating for 5 months, pelvic pain, leg pain, back pain and now loss of appetite.

I have had an external ultrasound and my right ovary is bulky.
the doctor is treating me for endometriosis and I am due to have a laparoscopic examination.
I still get this horrible feeling that it is something more sinister due to the persistent bloating and now loss of appetite.

im just wondering how long it took for you to get diagnosed? Was it easy or hard?

I suffer from depression and anxiety and so even though my doctor is telling me to " relax" the pain and bloating is so debilitating it's extremely hard to have peace of mind.

I'm also so incredibly sorry to everyone who has had of the worst. Sending light and love x

  • Hi DeeDee and welcome to the forum.

I'm sorry about the symptoms you've been contending with over the last 5 months. It sounds like they have been very challenging but fingers crossed the laparoscopy you're due to have will get to the bottom of this for you and give you the answers you're seeking.

Hopefully some of our members will be along soon to offer their thoughts and advice but in the meantime we're thinking of you and sending light and love your way as well.

Fingers crossed everything will be o.k DeeDee.

    Kind regards,
