I know no one can help with diagnosis etc I'm just feeling very anxious and alone. I'm on the depot contraceptive injection and haven't had a period for over 7 years with no break through bleeding in that time. In the past 6 months I've had 3 incidents of spotting. 2nd incident I mentioned to GP who thought hormonal and to come back if a 3rd time happened. Also I've had painful sex for well over a year, to the point where we don't have actual sex but it coincided with a series of thrush infections from antibiotics so I put it down to (1) healing after that and (2) my vagina being unhappy after a long period of not being bothered! I've also had pelvic pain for a while but have a history of kidney stones and infections so assumed the blame was urinary. So when a 3rd incident of spotting/bleeding occurred and I called the GP and he asked if I had other symptoms I told him everything. He seemed very annoyed at me for not calling sooner and now I have an urgent appointment for a physical tomorrow with a plan for a referral for a womb ultrasound. I honestly thought the bleeding would be hormonal but given how annoyed yhe GP seemed with me for not calling sooner I am now feeling very anxious and pretty bloody stupid.
