Problem with throat

Hello I have been having problems with my throat. For the past 3 weeks I have had problems swallowing, most of the time it feels like there is something in my throat. When I swallow small bits of food they get stuck in my throat and take a while to go down, water is also taking a little longer to go down compared to usual but I gave no problem swallowing it. I have a dry cough sometimes but I don't cough a lot. I have been dealing with extremely sticky mucous which is mostly very white in colour and it is very stringy. My throat feels like it is sticking together inside and I also have dry mouth even though I drink lots of water. When I put pressure on each side of my neck with my hands I feel like my lymph nodes are huge and hard but you can't see them from the outside. I told the doctor about all of this when it started and they gave me antibiotics (penicillin) and told me if I still have these problems after finishing the medicine then I need to speak to the doctor but that's not very easy at the moment. I have finished my medicine and I'm still having these problems and I'm so scared incase it is serious. I have also been feeling very tired too, like I need to sleep for longer. I also had symptoms of a mild burning throat yesterday but that has gone now. My throat feels a little tight too. I have GERD and I take 2 proton pump inhibitors each day and because I take them my reflux is never hot when it comes up. My drinks always come up into my throat every time I burp lately. I also have anxiety which has increased since I got these symptoms as I am very frightened. I'm also in my early 20's and got diagnosed with GERD a few years ago. Can somebody please suggest what this could be?
