Hi, I'm 57 & started bleeding after menopause just before Christmas, following fast track investigation of biopsy & internal scan, I've just been told that biopsy was clear but lining which should be 4mm is 16mm & I have a polyp, I'm now waiting for an appointment to have a camera investigation under general anaesthetic to take a biopsy of the polyp. I've been told that the polyp is benign but don't fully understand about the womb lining being this thick & what this may indicate. Any help with some sort of explanation greatfully received.
Thanks
