Doctor found something on Ovary -scared

On my mum's ct scan results  letter it said there were abnormalities in the womb lining and a cyst on her left Ovary but when she went for the scan they  also had to look at the right one . I am just worried because she had a liver scan and it took them  4 months to get back in touch and  then they sent her for  a ct scan last week and now this ultrasound .

    I had ovarian cysts the ultrasound showed that they were still there and they had not shrunk. They told me that at the scan. That was followed by a MRI scan. My consultant rang a couple of weeks later and confirmed that they were going to remove my overies. Gynaecology seems really organised and the gynaecology secretary was really helpful when I needed to know what the  time frame was for my surgery she asked the surgeon and rang me back. I had new meds and didn't know if l should take it prior to surgery. My outcome was benign l hope you have a similar experience.
