Rene

We have traced my family Pagets back to our Grandfather he died of throat cancer

He had three girls Mayble died of stomach cancer had no children.

Agnes had breast cancer, then went to the brain had one daughter Jean and she has had breast cancer

Yvonne, my mother died of brain cancer had two daughters  Claire who has just had her breast removed and it is also in her coccyx and hip bone. I have so many symptoms from head to toe but they can't find a cure. I felt so shy and embarrassed when I discovered  that my body part had turned black. I used to wax myself and it was always pink. I itch and scratch until it bleads drives me crazy. I know it's a bit graphic but can anyone tell me if they have  the same. I too feel very isolated  as it is not a subject that you can discuss. I am going to my doctor next week and hope I can get up the courage to let her examin me. Rene.

  • I don't have any experience of this but appreciate your anxiety and feeling isolated as I'm in the throes of a scare too.
I will say though, although it's hard and obvs embarrassing- definitely get it looked at. Maybe write it down and show gp letter when you get in there. Good luck and virtual hug!
