I am 50 yrs old and had symptoms of the pre menopausal. I have had periods every 3 weeks then no periods since last December.
I have pelvic pain and my GP sent me for an ultrasound and hormone blood test and a ovarian cancer blood test on Thursday.
They told me at the scan my lining of the womb is too thick to be going through the menopause and I have a cyst on each ovary. Which is probably causing the pain. They didn't tell me the measurement of cysts or lining of womb. They said the GP will refer me to a gynaecologist.
I contacted my GP surgery yesterday they had the results but have to wait for a Dr to read them first. I kept phoning all afternoon and they said no Dr had checked the results and I had to phone them Monday.
It's my daughters 14th birthday tomorrow. The things that go through your mind.
I am in constant pain and don't feel comfortable. No periods and if the lining of the womb is too thick for the menopause. you start reading up and thankfully I have found this page.
