Testicular ache

Hi everyone,  I thought I'll write my story here and see what happens,  on my 29th birthday I had this testicle ache on my right side,  so I put an ice pack on and it was fine, couple days later my testicles were feeling very uncomfortable while walking, so I panicked and started googling,  I gave myself a panic attack,  later couldn't tell if I needed to pee or not just felt some mild pain in the bladder just before I went to pee,  went to hospital doctors said uti,  so I got medication,  it didn't go away,  was very scared that I ended up in the gum clinic but all the tests came back negative,  I felt fine for while taking meds but after the course,  had pain on my left testicle when going up the stairs,  so went to hospital again,  doctor examined me and said bacteria so gave me ofloxacin for 2 weeks, feeling way better but sometimes when I think about it, I'm still getting nightmares, I'm so scared,  any idea what it could be? or why? Many thanks

I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had some problems with your testicle. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious but it is good to know that you've already seen your GP as well as a number of other health professionals. It sounds positive that things have started to improve and that you're feeling better.

I'd suggest speaking to your GP about your concerns. Hopefully, they will be able to give you the reassurance you need to put your mind at ease. In the meantime, you might want to look at this information on the NHS website which has some helpful advice and tips for managing health anxiety

I hope things settle for you soon.

    Best wishes,
