Hi everyone, this is my first time posting and although I haven't been diagnosed with anything nasty I just wanted to hear from others. So some back story - I went to my GP with the following symptoms:
Change in my cycles - going months and months without one.
My periods have become extremely heavy and painful which is very unusual for me. I get really bad pelvic pain aswell as pain on the lower right of my back.
Unusual excessive discharge.
Spotting in between cycles.
I was sent for a scan external and internal and it stated it was a difficult scan and that a 10mm polyp surrounded by fluid - it had a ? after on my GP record was seen. My GP has referred me to a gynecologist team for this. I'm aware alot of polyps in the womb are benign but then I am also aware they can be cancerous. My GP also informed me the Gynecologist will preform a hysterscopy - this is why I said possible polyp as I know sometimes scans can get this wrong.
