I am confused and worried. I had 2 moles removed on Friday for biopsy. However the consultant who removed them said Ihave melanoma skin cancer. I understand that with experience they are likely to be right. But I was also told I need to prepare for the worst. Since being told that I have become sick with worry. The worst in my mind is that I have no hope of having successful treatment. Could that be the case? and can a consultant tell just by looking at the mole that the cancer will be terminal? Has anyone else been told to prespare for the worst before biopsy results have been reviewed?
