Cervical polyps found

Hiya, 

I went for my smear about 8 days ago, the nurse referred me straight to colposcopy because she found cervical polyps? And I had irregular bleeding. I had abnormal cells taken off with a LLETZ loop about 5 years ago, 2nd smear came back with hpv and then I stupidly didn't go to the appointment now I'm a little bit *** myself because they found something before I've had my results for my smear back?? 

can anyone else share their experiences with this please?
