Abnormal ESR and CRP blood tests and now FIT test

Hello,

Just after some advice.

I had a blood test last week after I completely lost my appetite, lost a lot of weight, had stomach pain and had strange bowel motions. I have a CRP result of 8 and ESR of 125. I was then asked to do a FIT test which I have handed in today.

So two questions: how long are FIT test results taking to come back? And could there be a link between bowel and blood tests?

    When waiting for results it's completely understandable, and natural, to be feeling anxious but fingers crossed you won't have to wait too long for your results to come through.

    Your GP surgery would be in the best position to let you know how long it may take for the results to come through but hopefully some of our members will share their experiences with you soon as well.
