My lump feels like a ridge too, it's also painful. Breast clinic appointment is on the 23rd. 

Hoping you get good news.

I have yearly mammograms and check myself regularly. I only found this when my husband hugged me and it hurt! Am hoping that because it's painful, it will be a cyst, so am trying not to worry too much, ha easier said than done eh! 

I'm 41 so don't have mammograms yet, there is a history on both sides though. 

I'm having 50 million other symptoms all on the same side so I'm in major panic mode and catastrophising the whole thing.

Just read your post. What did your doc say about your other symptoms? I was about your age when I started getting mammograms due to family history, I have had a few ultra sounds too due to cysts. I know it's easier said than done, but they not to worry too much. Have you told your family? 

He said it could all be linked or could be a separate issue so I've no idea. My lymph nodes are swollen so throw that in with a lump and Dr Google is telling me nothing but bad news. 

All my family know and I'm getting lots of worried looks, my husband is very upset. 

Feels like I'm waiting for forever to get checked. 

Sounds like you're in good hands and been well monitored so far. 

Don't do google! Its not a good idea and all people are different! I know whatever anyone says, you still have it in your head that it's bad news, but try and focus on the good, you are getting seen and it's not too long to wait realistically. The symptoms might not be linked, they could be something else. I know I am too optimistic, my glass is always full but please try and not overly worry.  

Managed to stay away from Google since, it's out of my control now so I just have to hope everything is clear.
