Hello Mummykirsty, 

Try not to worry too much about the fact that the doctor wants to call you next week to talk about your results. It's best not to read anything into this or anticipate the worst and it may be that this is the current procedure in place at your surgery, that doctors are currently picking up the phone more to talk to their patients about results. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long to speak to your doctor as I can understand why you would be worrying more with each passing day and asking yourself questions about why they want to talk to you on the phone. 

Hopefully there will be others on the forum who have encountered a similar situation and I hope that they will be along soon to share their story with you. 

I hope that it all goes well when you talk to the doctor on the phone and that you get some reassuring answers soon.
