I don't think you need to read anything into the fact that your bowel consultant is going to write to you about the results. This may well be standard practice but I can understand why it is making you feel nervous and I am keeping everything crossed for you that it all turns out to be nothing too concerning.
I hope that you won't have to wait too long for your results and that you get to see your consultant's letter very soon.
