Background info: I've had a bartholin cyst before, which has got infected etc - this was 7 years ago. Just before the pandemic hit I went to the doctors as I had developed another lump, didn't hurt etc but after it being there for over 5 months and growing I decided to get it checked out - by the time I got my appointment the gynaecologist dismissed it & said she couldn't feel anything. (I've found it's not as noticeable if I'm laying flat compared to me sat at an angle).
Anyways I left it until recently while let's say "servicing myself" I could feel the lump has grown loads! Going up half of my labia and also all the way down my vaginal wall - the one in my vaginal wall feels hard to the touch whereas the one in my labia feels soft to touch. Although they don't feel like one lump but two. They don't hurt but feel uncomfortable when touching.
I'm just wondering if this is normal for bartholin cysts or should I be booking a doctors appointment for it to be looked into further? I'm currently going through loads of problems with irregular periods / late periods (I have high prolactin) and plan to see and endocrinologist in March for it - so it's making me a little bit more nervous on whether I should be paying this more attention or if I'm just making myself panicky.
