Lump behind ear and lump in neck

Hi all, today I found a hard lump behind my right ear, pretty much behind my ear lobe. It's hard to touch, not painful and doesn't move. I would say it's a little bit bigger than pea sized. After finding this lump I obviously went feeling round to see if there was any others and came across a lump in the right side of my neck, not as prominent as one behind my ear but I can definitely feel it and there isn't one on the left side in same area. It doesn't feel very hard but have to press to feel it if you get me? Really worried as obviously when you Google you find yourself looking for the worse outcome. Could these be glands? I have no cold symptoms or any sickness. I have been really tired the last few weeks no matter how much sleep I get and constantly feel itchy all over this may or not have anything to do with the lumps I've found? Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar, couldn't get a doctors appointment will try again Monday morning. Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for anyone who replies to me x

  • Hello Hmr2711

I'm sorry to hear that you've found a lump over the weekend. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious.

I hope that you were able to speak with your GP surgery today. Do try to contact them again if you've not been able to talk with someone yet as they will be best placed to support you.

    Best wishes,

  • Hi Jenn, thanks for the reply. Still can't get a doctors appointment or even get through to them (nothing new there)currently in process of swapping doctors which is gonna take a few days but new doctors surgery have said they will get me in straight away as soon as registration has been completed and loaded onto there systems. Still beside myself with worry can't stop poking and prodding the lumps on my mind 24/7 but just a waiting game now to actually see a doctor to see if I have been worrying for nothing. Thanks again x
