I am sorry to hear you are feeling so worried about this mass just below your collarbone. You did the right thing to go to the doctor's about it and even though it is normal to be scared, you are now in the best capable hands to have this investigated properly. I think it would be worth going back to your GP and mentioning that you have started coughing and getting out of breath. It may well be unrelated to this but this is something your doctor will want to know about. So I'd suggest you give your surgery a call and mention these new symptoms you have been experiencing.
