Hard lump base of skull

Hi I have a small hard lump at the base of my skull. I've also been freezing for two weeks and have an itchy scalp. I'm absolutely terrified and I don't know if I'm being dramatic or not. All I can think of is my kids. I have had a blood test which came back normal and have to wait two weeks for the doctors. 

Has anyone else had one in the base of their skull? It doesn't seem to move.

I just feel so panicky all the time.

Any help or feedback would be much appreiated.

    It's good to hear the blood test came back normal although I know the next two weeks will be tough.

    Many of our members have contended with similar symptoms and know how challenging this time can be so hopefully you will receive some support and advice from them soon but in the meantime I hope this article I've found on how to cope with waiting for news will help keep your nerves at bay until you know more.
