Hello, I am wondering if anyone has similar experience to mine and can offer any insight. For three weeks I have had a lump in my throat when I swallow sometimes. It is really low down just to the side of my sternal notch at the base of my neck. Sometimes it feels like it is moving a bit in there, sometimes it feels like a pill is lodged there or a sharp prickly little rock. I have read all about the LPR Silent Reflux and wondered if it would be described the same. It's definitely not a blob feeling like mucus, just feels like a little sharp rock or pill. Then other times it feels like some one is sticking their finger in my windpipe in the same spot. I am trying to get into an ENT right now but only appt I have for evaluation so far is March 3rd. Not sure if i can deal with this that long... its driving me mad! I also have some slight sore throat maybe and some tongue burning or numbness and have a bad taste in the back of the throat like you get when youre sick sometimes. No fever, no swollen glands, no tonsil redness or spots. Any replies would be greatly appreciated. Sabrina
