Worried - doctors think my lymphoma has come back

I've had a gland up for some time now and had non hodgkin's lymphoma a type of blood cancer in 2018 treated with chemotherapy and methotrexate and have been in remision since early 2019 , I've had a ultrasound needle biopsy on the 31st December which came back inconclusive but the doctor thinks there's a 80% chance it's the lymphoma coming back, I've undergone a surgical biopsy of the lymph node today.

I just want the treatment started, I've done it before so I'll do again I just don't want to have to and loose my hair and everything else that goes with cancer, primarily worried about my husband and family having to watch me go through it again..

I'm also dealing with having a immunodeficiency called hypogammaglobulinemia discovered recently, caused by my previous cancer and am worried I won't be able to fight it the same as I did before.

  • Hi

I'm going through simular at the moment.  I had a rare form of cutaneous Tcell lymphoma in the past. I haven't been feeling great for a few months and bloods have picked up on "raised gamma globlin" this is new to me. They say it could be Something simple like rheumatoid arthritis however all the other bloods for that were normal. I'm waiting to see the specialist but I'm driving myself mad on Google. I was just wondering if you had ever had 'raised gamma globlin'?

    Thanks
