Hi there try not to worry lymph nodes can be raised for lots of reasons and sometimes no reason can be found , but you are doing the right thing by getting them checked out .

My son did have cancer when he was 2 1/2 he had a wilms tumour . Quite a few years after he had finished chemo his lymph nodes at the back of his neck came up they felt like jelly beans under the skin, obviously I was thinking the worst but he was checked out and no reason could be found . They thought he must have had a viral infection at some point .

I am happy to say he is now 26 years old and fit and well . take care x

As I said the GP said lumps felt 'good' as in soft, moveable and hadn't grown since 4 weeks ago when I first noticed them and took her to see him, which I know are all good signs but its difficult not to imagine the worst. 
Can I ask did the lumps you found in his neck ever go down again? X

your welcome yes they just went back down again in their own time . I can't remember how long they took it is such a long time ago now but they were there quite a while . Almost alien like to look at very bizarre and we never had a definitave answer but they never did it again it was just one of those things .

I hope your not waiting too long to be seen they are usually pretty good where kids are concerned . Hope everything turns out to be fine x
