Low folic acid

I've been having trouble with my stomach and bowels. I have stomach pain, tiredness, losing weight, constipation, blood in stools. I had Bloods done which showed low folic acid. High platelet count and high enzymes in my liver.

 

I've looked into this and this could be a sign of colorectal cancer. I'm bring referred to hospital. My doctor is putting me on folic acid tablets but I'm really worried about all the symptoms

    I'm sorry to hear of the symptoms you've been contending with but hopefully the folic acid tablets your doctor has prescribed will help and are not a sign of anything sinister.
