Mole changes help

Hi all

towards the end of my pregnancy I noticed a mole on my arm become a little raised 'blood blister' that's what it looks like. A tiny dark blood red raised mole. I would probably think it was a blood blister but I didn't do anything to get one and it's been there since and I am now 12 weeks post partum. I can't 100% remember but pretty sure it was a mole there before.

it looks a little like a cheery agnioma but is dark blood red not cherry red therefore don't think it can be this?

im 26 and a first time mum and super worried

  • Hi girl8889

Based on no medical knowledge whatsoever I'd say definitely go and get it checked by your GP. if only because then you will know for sure... until you get it checked you will worry and if it is something serious it needs sorted (and it can be sorted)

During pregnancy I had 4 moles pop up as bumps that were previously flat and one turned a bit red... they didn't go back down, so I went to the gp and all four were removed (there and then with no pain and just a tiny scar after)... They turned out to be nothing to worry about but I'm glad I checked and pleased I don't have them any more. GP said it was pregnancy related but that it was good to get them removed... I have no idea why but I guess it can do that to you.... but please go get it checked.... As a new mum (congratulations!) you don't need to carry this worry around with you - go get it checked so you can focus on the happy stuff of being a mum x
