Can you have a local anaesthetic for this procedure? Hoping it is a polyp 8mm. If it is anything else do you find out there whilst having the procedure? I'm 45 and last year had mammogram which were breast cysts. Could it be peri menopause causing havoc? Thanks

    Hi hope I had my hysteroscopy under general so yes you can request for it that way I suffer anxiety and to be honest it's the only way I could have had it done , I'm 51 and had a bleed a year after my periods had stopped my results came back normal I had it done in October but now have spotting again I can't go thru all that again it was so stressful 

    I hope you got some answers and that your ok
