Hi Emma, 

Thank you for thinking of me. I am very relieved to say I have been told I have cysts ranging in size but all harmless. I think i almost have more cysts than breast tissue in places but I feel very grateful as I know some women today won't have had good news. 

I was told by the radiographer doing the ultrasound that it was cysts so I knew before seeing the consultant. He also checked both breasts and confirmed harmless cysts. 

Have you had your appointment through yet? Please keep me updated on the outcome x

Oh I'm so happy that you got good news and its nothing to be concerned about!!

Still no appointment but rang Gp today and they confirmed the referral was put through last Monday so I think I'll give it another 2 weeks and ring the breast clinic direct to see where I am on the list. 
Hopefully will here something soon and will keep you updated!!

Had my appointment come through today, its for next Wednesday night, hoping everything goes okay but I've started having some pain where the lump is so not hopeful xx

Hi Emma, I'm glad your appointment has come through and I really hope it's good news for you! Please update on here when you have been. Sorry to hear about the pain, i don't think pain is always a bad sign and I've often read it doesn't usually go with anything sinister. I have pain in my cysts, particularly with my cycle, so I hope it's the same for you and something benign. Wishing you the best of luck x

Hi I just want to put a little positive post on because I made myself sick with worry over the last week about and lump and pain in my breast. I have been to the breast clinic today and it is benign fatty tissue. I was reviewed by the breast consultant and then had an ultrasound. The pain is both hormonal and also not wearing the correct fitting bra since I've had my baby. I'm 29. im sure you will be fine x

I'm 28 an have twin boys and I feel exactly the same, literally having dreams of having it since Friday after the doctors, my anixety is at all time high.  I've got 2 lumps just above where my underwire sits, have had them for a while thought nothing of it, where I've lost weight now intentionally I can feel it more. my doctor is hopeful that it's just fatty tissue, as I can feel it, it doesn't hurt as such but it's tenderish so she said that's a good sign. I'm mostly worried though because my mum has stage 3 lymphoma non hogkin thankfully, and my grand mother had milk duct cancer. I had my breast clinic letter today it's not until the end of April, so thankful it's so soon but with my anxiety I just wish it was tomorrow

I know these posts arent recent and im glad it Was just cysts. Can i ask what your cyts felt like and where abouts? I have a growth which is lower part of my right boob and i can grab it with my breadt tissue. Feels round and moveable but firm and not tender. Xxx
